We brought our catamaran to the XXVI National Naval Modelling Exhibition

On the weekend of October 2-4, Castellón's Espai Cultural Moruno hosted the XXVI National Naval Modelling Exhibition, organised by the Asociación de Modelistas de Castellón (A.M.C.). More than fifty models and over forty participants from across Spain — from Madrid to Asturias, Zaragoza and Bizkaia — filled the hall with every style of naval modelling.

Among classic sailboats and competition-ready sailing models, we brought our own Reciplasa catamaran: the autonomous boat we're developing with the Reciplasa Chair and CIRTESU to collect plastic waste from the marine environment. A nice contrast — models recreating historic ships right next to a prototype built for the future of marine robotics.

The free exhibition also included free-sailing sessions in the recently refurbished pool next to the building, where the public could watch some of the exhibited boats in action.
